While I've never really grown up, my earlier years were spent in the 1960's and '70's in a working class family, living in Brooklyn's Bayview Housing Projects. From the time I first started working at age 13, I yearned for adventure--to experience what the world had to offer beyond the chain link fence.

Always athletic, I ran track and cross country in high school. Sports continue to be an important part of my life. I work to stay active, taking spin and body conditioning classes regularly. It's the one thing that's helped me hold on to a 30' inch waistline!

On the work side, I did my corporate penance--err, time--selling and marketing to interior designers and the architectural community. This led me into the world of design...and the birth of MitchWorld. It's a passion where I spend time creating clothing and accessories for comfort-seeking, style-concious professionals.

At MitchWorld , like elsewhere, I feel anything worth doing is only worth doing well. And that includes sticking to the only rule to live by: The Golden Rule! And not the one that says he who has the gold....With that said, Welcome to Mitchworld!
